  • Limit reductions take effect immediately. Limit increases require 7 days before activation. This asymmetry is intentional and cannot be waived.
Recommended Starting Point: If you are new to setting deposit limits and are unsure where to start, a useful approach is to calculate your monthly discretionary income (after all essential expenses including rent, food, utilities, and savings), then set your monthly deposit limit to no more than a small percentage of that figure — an amount you could lose entirely without any impact on your financial obligations or quality of life.

4. Time-Out & Cooling-Off Periods


A time-out is a shorter, temporary break from your bdtje account — distinct from a full self-exclusion. Time-outs are designed for players who are not experiencing serious problem gambling concerns but who feel they would benefit from a brief pause to rest, reflect, or manage stress. During a time-out, your account is suspended and you cannot log in, deposit, or wager. Any pending bets placed before the time-out began will be settled normally.
